Bonus Features

Thunder Buddies Bonus

In order to trigger this bonus, you will have to land the Thunder Buddies Scatter Symbol at least three times on the reels. This will then take you to a wheel mini-game which you must spin. Where it lands will decide which of five bonuses you will receive. These are:

• Wheel of Fartune- You will have to choose from multiple Teds on the screen, which will then reveal an arrow, multiplier boost or spin. These relate to the wheel in this bonus, as an arrow will add an extra arrow to the wheel, the multiplier will increase the multiplier values on it and the spin will obviously spin the wheel. If you land on an arrow in the wheel, you will advance to another level where more valuable prizes can be won. Make it to the middle to trigger the Big Money Bonus.
• Bar Crawl - This will take you to a new screen with two different stages. The first is a board minigame where you must pick bottles to advance further, increasing your multiplier along the way. If you land on one of the special positions, this will trigger one of four effects that could award stake multipliers, help win the big money bonus or end the feature altogether.
• Super Mart Free Spins- you will be granted five free spins, with an animated ted behind the reels on a conveyor belt. This will have multiplier wilds and will move left to right for every spin, changing where the wilds are positioned. When it stops moving, the wilds will be added onto the reels in whatever pattern it finished on.
• Flash Free Spins- A new 5x4 reel set is introduced on which you will have a number of free spins to play. Above the reels, there will be a grid with additional free spins, extra wilds and prizes to be won. If a Flash symbol lands, or at the end of the spins, you will be given the chance to win in the grid. As you advance up the grid, you will get better prizes, until you reach the summit where the Big Money Bonus will be awarded.
• Big Money Bonus - In this round, Ted will appear in the centre of the screen surrounded by various multipliers. These will spin and stop at a certain value; you must then pick one of two ‘Sale’ signs to reveal either RESPIN or COLLECT. The former will initiate a respin and deliver a new multiplier, while the latter will end the feature.

Random Bonuses

There are six bonuses that can randomly trigger at any point during the base game. Ted will wake up and bestow one of the benefits, accompanied by a fully rendered animation. The bonuses you can win are as follows:

• Laser Gun Wilds - Ted will spring forward and pull out a laser gun before shooting at the reels. Any symbols hit by its beam will turn into wilds.
• Psychedelic Super Spin- Ted will get up and produce a glass smoking pipe before inhaling and blowing smoke all over the reels. This will add a number of new special Ted symbols to the reels which will then turn into one base game icon. A new calculation will then be made.
• Beer Streak – this will trigger after you land a winning combination. Ted will open up a can and sprays it over the reels, causing bubbles to froth all over them. All the symbols will then reorganise into a new winning combination and can continue to do so until the bubbles pop.
• Psychedelic Colossal Spin - Ted picks up his glass pipe again breathes heavy smoke over the reels. When it dissipates, three reels will merge into one giant reel, guaranteeing a winning combination with a giant symbol.
• TV Remote Symbol Streak - After you land a win, Ted can use his TV remote to initiate a respin. The symbols involved in the win will stick in place and this will repeat until you cannot better the win.
• Psychedelic Bonus Boost - Ted uses his pipe to once again cover the reels with smoke, adding numerous bonus symbols in the process, which increases the chance of triggering the Thunder Buddies Bonus.

Now, I’m not the biggest fan of other artificial talking animals, but I am a big fan of bonuses. Because of this, Ted might just have won me around.
